Legality of surrogacy in Ukraine

Surrogacy is a practice that is supported and regulated by law in Ukraine, making it one of the few countries in the world where this method of infertility treatment is legally recognized. In contrast, many European countries have chosen to prohibit surrogacy. For instance, Germany's Supreme Federal Court has passed a bill that bans surrogacy within its borders. Ukraine, on the other hand, hosts annual congresses in the field of reproductology, attracting experts from around the globe. With over 30 private ART clinics located in cities like Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa, and Dnipro, Ukraine has witnessed the birth of more than 12,000 children through surrogacy. The country's reputation for providing high-quality medical services, along with its experienced professionals and responsible surrogate mothers, has established Ukraine as a prominent destination for medical tourism. Infertility couples from all corners of the world choose Ukraine as their preferred location for seeking infertility treatment.

Every surrogate mother undergoes a thorough medical evaluation to ensure the prevention of any potential issues or complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Following this examination, the doctor provides a recommendation regarding the woman's suitability for IVF, pregnancy, and childbirth. We take on the responsibility of overseeing the pregnancy and coordinating the childbirth process, collaborating with top-tier clinics and medical professionals. Our objective is to bring joy to as many aspiring parents as we can by helping them achieve their dream of parenthood.
